This made me laugh on a few levels. Whenever my mom would cook too much for company my dad would joke she thought my mom was planning just in case the high school football team showed up. And then remembering how much we used to eat when we played football, I looked and thought "you're going to need a bigger pig" when I saw the young men waiting in line. I’m doing a hog for a family function in a few weeks with my wife’s grandfather. Trying to learn the ropes so I can do this for my son when he’s older. My wife’s grandad used to cook pigs for the rec dept he worked at and now I work at the same rec dept and hope to do the same one day. Drag and chalk the fields and put some meat on the grill for the game. You gotta come back and collab with old colony sometime!
