  1. Hey Chef Johnny, great to see you behind the smoker again, and love the t-shirt from up here in my country. Getting ready to do about 8 racks of baby backs and a couple pork butts for my nephews graduation next weekend and sure enjoyed watching this video. Great timing and can't wait to see what you're cooking up next.

  2. Great looking ribs Johnny. Happy Birthday to the wife, tell mother in law hello too. Always appreciate when you share your expertise. By the way, had to run my furnace up here in north Iowa yesterday. John T.

  3. Sure do look good. I did fake ribs yesterday and just had some leftovers. Yea country style. I did them on a rack over a pan with onions and the bottom. I think they call it anju and barbecue sauce drippings make some very easy side Dash

  4. These racks looked fantastic. AND… cooked under 3 hours! You just proved it doesn’t have to take all day with pork ribs. I think I’ve got my Lone Star Grillz tuning plates dialed in, I’d love to see how you have your tuning plates set. Also, how does your top grate cook vs the bottom grate? Do you think the warming box over the fire box has any effect with the heat/air flow? I always look forward to watching your videos! OH… and tell wifey “Grumpus” says Happy Birthday!
