  1. I didn't think it would work. But then I stopped and thought about it. Tomatoes are pretty acidic so that could work to balance the sweetness of the strawberry. Like when you add a bit of lemon to a strawberry dish. Tomatoes and strawberries are both really good with basil so no issue there. Watermelon can be too from what I've heard, but even if it's not, let's be real, it's a subtler flavor and pretty much just a bit of sugar and tons of water so if the flavor gets lost, it's just adding sweetness and liquid. So not so shocking when you stop and think. But definitely doesn't sound like it at first.

  2. When i was a kid, my nan put sugar on tomatoes for us. I dont k ow where it comes from, but its surprisingly good. I imagine adding watermelon to that would be a mild change. Im not sure about the strawberries though.
