  1. Thank you, this video was really informative. Great to hear from real people instead of commercially paid people. I found your views more convincing.
I bought a nutribullet (not Rx) and it worked really well for a year, which is about the amount it's built for. Then it started to leak.
I think I need to save for a Vitamix entry level blender, and then it will be a good investment over time.

  2. Vitamix clearly did the best job. The colour is a little less green compared to Nutribullet because Nutribullet did not manage to pulverise all the seeds — you can see the difference @4:23. This would also affect the end texture somewhat. Besides, there's a lot more airspace within the Vitamix jug (which also isn't airtight) that results in greater amount of oxidation and aeration. If you'd used a Vitamix cup instead, I bet the results would knock Nutribullet out of the park

  3. ive owed two ninjas. I dont remeber the model of the first one but it was a normal blender with the single blades at the bottom. I made mainly green smoothies with ALOT of veggies and quite a varitey. It blended them very well, completly liquefied and no solid peices. Recently the motor gave out (after having for many years) and i bought another ninja. Except this one is like the one in the vid. It has the long spiny blades that go all up and down of the shaft thing that goes in the blender. My experience so far is that it does not completly liquiefy the veggies, and there are alot of pieces still intact. My belief is that its the blade design

  4. One thing people may not realize is that you put more produce through a juicer a lot of times then you put in a blender so you may lose fiber but you still more nutritionally out of it. Also, if you get adequate fiber elsewhere in your diet the fiber lost in juicing is not much of a loss.

  5. I use my ninja duo Auto IQ blender everyday. In fact I've used it every day for the last 4 years. It works great for sauces, dressings, soups, smoothies, salsa, pico de gallo, and homemade hummus. I recommend using the smaller blending cups to get smoother results. I've been very happy with my ninja!

  6. He said vitamix looks like the bullet and she picked up the blendtec to compare. He didn’t catch it. Plus their back splash tile looks half done. They should have taken it all the way to the ceiling above the curtain

  7. The color can only come from the ingredients, not how well it's mixed-a little extra purple cabbage and grapes even a tiny bit, will give you a grayer end product as it blends with opposite color vegetables/fruits on the color wheel. Try weighing ingredients next time for a truly equal visual end product.

  8. Wow, really great comparison. I have a vitamix for about 15 yrs now and it just konked out on me so I was going to buy another. You guys are now making me interested in buying that ninja instead. Thanks for taking the time to do an honest review.

  9. How can smoothies differ in color when the same ingredients were used? I don't see any way that the touch of a blade can change the color of the smoothie. Maybe some types of food were more ripe than others, or maybe you didn't use the exact same amount in each, don't you think? How else are you gonna explain the difference in color? Magical blades that add/ remove color? 🙂

  10. I own all three nutribullets and I took the plunge and bought the vitemix 6500 and I am telling you the vitamix is far superior to all the nutribullets.  I did the same test with the vitamix and the rx and the vitamix was far smoother.  I think you did something wrong when u did your test with the vitamix.  also the rx you have to keep replacing the blade on the rx.  thr rx also doesn't break down blackberry or raspberry seeds like the vitamix but if your on a tight budget the rx is pretty good

  11. The NutriBullet has ONE (1) speed and no external On/Off switch or pulse capability. If you want to make batches larger than 12 oz, be prepared to have extra containers on hand, and to do a lot of tedious pouring and mixing. Their technical advisor also warned me to not operate the motor longer than 60 seconds at a time, so you will also be slowed between jarfulls to let it rest.

Even following this warning, my base unit came to a grinding, smoking halt after only 3 years of light to moderate family use. (4-6 times a week.) During that time, I also had to replace a container and two blade assemblies. (They actually recommend a new screw-on blade assembly every six months.) Mine is now in a landfill and I don't plan to buy another.
