  1. I made this today..the dough was very wet despite following the recipe exactly. What could be the reason?

Nonetheless the bread turned out very nice still. The issue is that because the dough was wet, so rather difficult to braid so I didn't get that beautiful look. Any advice would be appreciated

  2. Hi! I have a quick question. I baked this recipe twice with different salts (kosher and table salt) but the bread turned out being more on the salty side. Is there a chance that I'm doing something wrong? I rechecked and followed the measurements and kneeding and poof times. Maybe someone with more experience can help me please. Thank you in advance!

  3. hello, since this recipe uses instant yeast, may I know if I still need to wait a little to proof the yeast before adding flour? or can I just add flour immediately after stirring the yeast mixture? the video didn't specify but it looked like the yeast bloomed so I'm not sure 😥 help from anyone will be good!! thank you!!

  4. Hi there! Just made this last night.. my family really enjoyed this raisin bread for breakfast! Only thing is..your instructions stated to bake at 180c (bottom heat) for 30mins. Mine was done in 20mins and the base was kinda burnt.

Am curious as to why you used bottom heat for this recipe? The other videos did not.

  7. The dough totally refused to become elastic after kneading for some time, so I plopped it into an oiled bowl for the rise anyway. It rose nicely and was strong and elastic. Turned out to be a very workable dough after the rise. Update: love this recipe! Turned out beautifully. The dough is so soft, and what I like best of all is that it is not sweet! Would be perfect with a cup of tea!! Definitely a keeper!!! Thanks!!
