Bei uns in Norddeutschland gibt es ein ähnliches Gebäck, es wird Knebbekuchen genannt..Auch ein Hefegebäck mit Anis. Ein Rezept das aus der friesischen Küche stammen könnte, die ja ihren Ursprung im Norden von Hplland haben. Meiner Meinung nach kommt der Name 'Knebbe' von Kniepen ,wie Kneifen 'of knyp' und wenn ich im Video sehe wie die Bolletjies geformt werden, könnte das auch hinkommen.

Hi Fatima, these are lovely thanks for the recipe. My question is i did not see you put oil your pan before, i think i heard you say you dusted the pan with flour, please correct me if wrong. I am learning to bake and this i did not know . Just asking, before i do it and only to find that i am wrong, i thought butter is the way to go.
