  1. Sohla, this was wonderful and I enjoy your content. You're so approachable and encouraging and I just appreciate you so much especially for your young viewers, which I hope there are many, who need to stretch the budget and make yummy food.

  2. As a avid home cook I wasn't really expecting to learn anything.. I was wrong! So many little tips that will help me in the future. Sohla's family pasta resonates with me, I have my own similar dish that I make for myself when no one else is home.

  3. It’s funny, I was raised to never pour out the pasta water – instead my mom taught me to scoop out the pasta with a wire spider or use chopsticks/tongs to get the noodles out of the water. I think she just didn’t want us to pour the boiling water out into the sink for safety reasons.
