Wow that looks so good 😊
Looks great, ima going to try this in my instant pot. I don't want to wait for hours lol
Try adding the dry onion soup packet too. And some bell peppers. Tryna tell yall!
I am cooking it right now aNd excitedto eat it. Thanks for sharing this reciow.whats the name of this?
My dad taught me was how to prepare neck bones. I'm 35 and make em at least twice a month. After cleaning them I take a Tablespoon of better than bouillon garlic base and stir it into the water. Season, add the onion and after a half hour add black eyed peas. At the 2 hr mark I remove the meat and make a rue (cornstarch/flour) mix to thicken the juice into a gravy (must be careful not to over thicken). I like em hot out the pot over my bed of basmati rice topped with Frank's red and a side of corn bread. Have a good sleep after that 😪. Great video.
It’s 2022 and I’m still watching this video
Can add kale or some other green right away?
I would do exact same thang except my buddy Larry fron Trinity Gardens gave me a good tip, boil them neck bones for 20 mins drain and discard water then cook as shown.
I made it but I'm not much on picking over bones. They were given to me so I had to cook them. It turns out good for what it was. Made a good broth for the cornbread and rice too. Probably won't make it again.
I'm making this tomorrow exactly like you did. I can't wait. Thanks for the video.
I ❤ a good tasting neckbone with cornbread , greens and rice !
I made these last night and I just have to say…DELICIOUS!!!…. I tweaked it a bit. I have no slow cooker, so I baked in the oven at 325 for an hour and a half. I added potatoes during the last hour. I didn't have chicken broth so just used water. -Also added some extra spices: turmeric, ginger, more garlic. It was so good! I bought some more pork necks today! Thank you for your recipe and the inspiration.
Looks very tasty love me some neck bones 😉
Now here in 2022… meat prices are outrageous. I grabbed all the neckbones at the grocery store last night. For a family of 8 i saved $20 by choosing these over steak. And these taste better imo 😋
I love iheart recipes!!! Why does it look darker after you take them out? they look delicious. because of you i add parsley to 90% of my meals lol. makes it look so pretty. Im headed in the house to clean and season my meat then let it sit and fake marinate for a few hours.

Nice!!
This country girl just whipped pork neck bone in the crock pot….can't wait to dig in looks absolutely delicious
great price easy to set up.
Can you use beef broth too?
Here's a tip…save/freeze fat trimmings from your chicken recipes. You can add that chicken fat into this dish, along with water for even better flavor than chicken broth.
I fixed this last night with smoked pork neck bones and it was really good. The only thing I would change is not to put the cornstarch in until you defat the broth. ours was really fatty so the gravy wasn't as enjoyable. Other than that little detail it was really good, even my young kids enjoyed it and have asked me to make it again
"Pretty" food is not all it's cracked up to be , I'd rather have this bowl of necks .
They’re not pretty…they’re gorgeous
I love this!!!
Looks pretty to my hungry self…😋
If I don’t have corn start, can I use regular flour??
Quick and simple. Thank you.
Loving the simplicity of it, much appreciated.
My Sweetie helped kill and process hogs with a friend. Free meat !! 😁 The Roast pork butts ribs and chops I knew how to cook and serve..but he came home with a mess of pork backs too. You just gave me my first recipe. Going to do some fresh collards with it and because I'm diabetic I'll switch out that yummy rice for cauliflower rice. I'm going to be one happy gal. Thank you for sharing!!
I added a little cream of mushroom soup to water instead for the thickness
I'm so glad I ran across your recipe.
That rice slack af but damn she killed the neckbones 😍🤗

Still wiping the drool off my face. It looks SOOO good! Doesn't need to be pretty but anyone who knows how to enjoy food can tell THAT is DELISH!
If you don't have chicken broth could you use water and chicken bouillon or soup base?
You did that looks good
1:45 I let mine cook for 4hours on high and it turn burnt, why?
I haven’t made these since my granny passed. Heading to HG hills in the morning!

Making this recipe as we speak. I now remember why I hadn’t made neck bones in years. Cleaning those things is a beast! LOL
