Ingredients
Coriander Seeds – 2 Tsp (Buy:
Cumin Seeds – 1 Tsp (Buy:
Peppercorns – 1Tsp (Buy:
Pounded Ginger and Garlic
Oil – 2 Tsp (Buy:
Onion – 1 No
Green Chilli – 1 No
Tomato – 2 Nos
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tsp (Buy:
Chicken – 500 Grams
Curry Leaves
Cinnamon (Buy:
Clove (Buy:
Cardamom (Buy:
Bay Leaf (Buy:
Method
Pound coriander seeds, cumin seeds and peppercorns and keep it aside
Pound ginger and garlic and keep it aside
In a pressure cooker, add oil, add whole spices, onions, green chilies, curry leaves and saute
Add the pound ginger and garlic and saute along
Add tomatoes and mix well
Add turmeric powder and saute everything well
Add the chicken pieces and mix well
Add salt, pound coriander, cumin and pepper powder
Add water and mix well
Once the soup comes to a boil, pressure cook the soup for 2-3 whistles
Finally add some coriander leaves and serve the soup hot

I’m a South Indian too, but to be frank we have a tendency to bombard all kinds of meat with a barrage of spices until they all end up tasting the same!😅
