  1. So just curious, would this by chance taste something similar to crab cakes? It doesn't sound like a bad creation. I think I would just add most of the ingredients from gumbo and make a dressing, no rice though. Chicken, sausage, shrimp, crab, okra, holy trinity, maybe stewed tomatoes, cream of mushroom, stock, and season to flavor. What do you guys think?

Just a tip for some people from a louisianian: brown a pound of jimmy dean breakfast sausage and sauté your veggies in the grease from that instead of the butter…(add the sausage back to the dressing when you mix it too)… and add you lump crab meat last and gently stir it so that it still has some of its texture…… everything else he did was spot on except for the garlic… we never add garlic to dressing… just the trinity… unless you’re creole lol… but this is a 🔥🔥🔥 recipe
