INGREDIENTS
1 lb lean ground beef
1 lb spaghetti pasta
25 oz jar marinara sauce
1 Tbsp dehydrated minced onion
2 all-purpose season salt blend
2 tsp beef bouillon powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 /2 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 tsp sugar
4 to 5 cups water

Cornbread INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups self-rising yellow cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup buttermilk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup cooking oil
2 Tbsp softened butter for pan
bake at 425 ° F for 20 minutes

  1. I made this last night for my daughter’s birthday and it was really good. The noodles soaked up the flavor of the sauce and meat – amazing. I tweaked the spices to my family’s preference but still used everything she did. I also doubled the recipe and did more of a slow cooked version of it so the flavors infused with the noodles longer. It was perfect.

  2. With the amount of salt she added to this dish, she's going to end up killing her family. I've been cooking my spaghetti in pasta sauce forever, but I prefer to use fresh ingredients such as such as a good quality can to crush tomatoes plus all kinds of veggies. I cook with less salt and use spices and herbs to keep it a healthy dish.

  3. I just did this last night! But…I sautéed onion and celery, added burger, cooked then added a big can of crushed tomato instead of the store-bought stuff. That way I control the seasonings and salt content. Still turns out yummy!
