Squid Ghee Roast is the Seafood version of the famous Chicken Ghee Roast, a signature dish of Shetty Lunch Home, Kundapur. Byadagi Chilli and Ghee are the key ingredients that gives this dish it’s unique flavour and Rich red colour.
This dish goes well with Neer Dosa, Plain Dosa or Soft Spongy Idli. Also a perfect side dish for any meal.

Ingredients:

FOR MARINATION:
SQUID – 250 GMS
TURMERIC – 1/2 TSP
CHILLI POWDER – 1 TSP
SALT – 1/2 TSP

FOR SQUID GHEE ROAST:
BYADAGI CHILLI – 15
CASHEWNUT – 8
GARLIC CLOVES – 5
GINGER – 1/2 INCH
TAMARIND EXTRACT – 1 TBSP
GHEE – 3 TBSP
SALT – 1/2 TSP OR AS PER TASTE
JAGGERY POWDER – 1 1/2 TSP
CURRY LEAVES
CORIANDER POWDER – 1 TSP
