STEAK BITES | Garlic Butter Steak Bites Recipe | Quick Dinner Recipe For 2

Today I am cooking at home and making tender garlic butter herb steak bites. This is a great way to make a meal for two with one steak. Serve with a side salad and baked french bread for a delicious meal.

  1. OK here is a killer seasoning for tips. I use seasoning salt, Cajun spice and herb and garlic seasoning. Cracked black pepper. Toss the meat in olive oil first, then sprinkle the meat with all the spices and toss, sprinkle more spice if need be to coat all sides of the meat.cook in a very hot day iron skillet to your desired doneness. I usually coat the meat and let it sit while I cook chopped potatoes in about one inch pieces. I use butter and avacato oil in the pan and mix the spuds around to coat, then I sprinkle seasoning salt lightly onto the spuds. These usually take about thirty minutes to cook and have a golden brown and or burnt crust on them. I make sure they are done before starting the steak, as the meat cooks fast. Canned string beans completes the meal. Once you've tried this, it's hard to go back to cooking a steak, because every bite of tips is delicious, seasoned perfectly. I use filet ( beef tenderloin) only for the meat. Cooked to medium, it's juicy with a nice braised outside. Turning the pieces to braised all sides is essential. Yummy.

  2. In Idaho these are called ‘bite size ‘ and every restaurant has a version of it, my husband makes it with venison and elk. I’m going to suggest your recipe for him the next time he’s making it

  3. I make something similar more like country fried steak. I 1st made it w Venison & found just as good! My mother in law had taught me this Recipe U cube down the meat then you take IM rollin in a mixture of Baking flour, powdered garlic & Poultry seasoning of course to your liking and then you just fry up with the butter as shown here II myself had added in fresh garlic in the Pan and my mother in law found she liked that better also lol O and yes it is a great way to stretch out your steak but it is also a great cold quick snack if you don't wind up eating at all while you're making it as I did. lol thankfully I made more with the venison. As many don't care for venison as our family does. If you have the right butcher & of course the hunter to get the deer & you can have freezer full of stakes, tenderloins, ground beef, and even sausage(I don't personal care for). 1st used the ground beef making tacos 1 night & Amazing I found much less fat to drain w the venison than when I had used store bought ground beef, even making meatloaf's too! Lol & those that swear they won't like it or won't eat it Actually found they really enjoyed having the different ways I had made it!
Many Enjoyed this version of it w my little tweak also to be the Favorite! A new Subscriber to stumbling on this today! Made me hungry & made it Delicious!
