Sticky Date Pudding (Nurpur)
Ingredients for Dates Mixture:
Dates (deseeded) 2 cups
Hot water 1 1/2 cup
Baking soda 1 tsp

Ingredients for Batter:
Nurpur Unsalted Butter 5 tbsp
Brown sugar 1/2 cup
Eggs 2
Mashed dates
All-purpose flour 2 cups
Baking powder 1 tsp
Cinnamon powder 1 tsp

Ingredients for butterscotch sauce:
Brown sugar 1 cup
Nurpur Unsalted Butter 4 tbsp
Cream 1 cup

Directions for Dates Mixture Preparation:
1- In a bowl add, water, baking soda, and deseeded dates and soak for 15 mins.
2- Transfer into a bowl and mash them well until thick dates paste has formed. Set aside.
Directions for Batter Preparation:
1- In a bowl add, butter, and brown sugar, and beat them well.
2- Now add eggs gradually and beat them well until fully mixed. Add dates mixture, flour when it gets creamy add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and dates and fold it well.
3- Transfer the prepared batter into greased cupcake molds and pudding molds. Bake at 180-degree for 15-20 mins.
4- Take them out of the oven and let them cool at room temperature.
Directions for Butterscotch Sauce Preparation:
1- In a pan heat butter and add brown sugar, and cream, and cook until desired consistency has reached.
2- Your Butterscotch Sauce is ready.
3- Drizzle it over prepared cupcakes and pudding and enjoy. Your Sticky Date Pudding is ready.
Prep time: 20-25 mins
Cooking time: 25-30 mins
Servings: 4-5
