Storing leftover BBQ, what is it, is it a myth or does this actually happen? Yes it does, and with it comes a range of questions people are always asking.
Should you put BBQ in the fridge? Yes, if you vacuum seal it, it will last in the fridge for up to two weeks, as long as it doesn’t have any bones in it. This will give you plenty of time to think about how you want to use up the leftover meat.
What to do with leftover BBQ? You should always store any food you haven’t eaten properly by vacuum sealing it and then you can either put it in the fridge for a couple of weeks or freeze it for a couple of years.
How do I keep my BBQ from drying out when I reheat it? The short answer is vacuum seal it as soon as possible what you have not eaten, this will ensure you retain all of the moisture and during the reheating process, the juices cannot evaporate from the bag.
How many days can you eat leftover BBQ? If you vacuum seal the leftover cooked BBQ, freeze it, you can keep eating it for years.
By watching this video, you will never throw away another scrap of leftover BBQ, and everything you reheat will be succulent and juicy like the day you cooked it, no more dried out reheated BBQ.
As with all my recipes I run through the selection, preparation, seasoning, BBQ set up, times and temps, so you can recreate this recipe at home.
As always, cheers for watching and see below for equipment I use to make my videos and the gear I use in them.

Great info, Schuey! Loved it!
Good info, vacuum sealed reheating is the way to go
Ffft only one beer? 10 minutes?
legend!
Ten minutes to drink a beer? It's like you're not even trying mate.
Your correct to let it cool, I put mine in freezer 1/2 hour or until MOIST or real juicy bits are more solid then vacuum seal, bag size is about half and a lot easier handle when really cold. Some vac sealers are just vac/seal or seal modes. Not as fancy as yours.
thanks for another video. i just wanted to say that i am getting over this whole smut and moist thing.
Like the camping idea👍
just a suggestion, say food is “juicy” not “ moist” much less smutty …. mmmm juicy … ok sorry that smutty- ish
Naked BBQ… just watch out for Great Granny reaching for an extra 'snag'!
I must say, the other night I tried your lamb shank recipe. Also smoked a beef shank. My daughter was in the kitchen when I was done resting the lamb shank. I have never cooked this before. I was standing there with fork in hand to pull off a chunk to put in my mouth. My daughter grabbed the fork from me and dug in. After placing it in her mouth and chewing, you could see the excitement on her face. Her mother asked, is it good? She replied yes. I asked, do you know what you are eating? She looked at me as my wife uttered a sheep noises from her mouth. This was priceless. 😂❤
Great video Schuey, always wondered what the vacuum sealers would be like, did know the were that good👍🤙
F*CK YEAH Schuey! I just did this with that 8 lb Pork Butt I just smoked up recently! I did 3 of these that would feed me and my lady. I am so glad I bought my vacuum sealer! One of the best purchases I have ever made! So glad you covered the "extra MOIST" stuff lol. I have learned to pre-freeze the moist stuff. Great post dude! Cheers from Oceanside CA mate!
Great video Schuey. Gotta get me one of those vacuum sealers now. I think you have a family of 5 really, that preist seems to live in your shed!
