Ingredients (1–2 servings)

1 cup carrot, peeled and chopped (or ½ cup carrot juice)

1 ripe banana

1 cup orange juice

Instructions

If using raw carrots, steam or boil them for 5–7 minutes until soft, then cool. (Skip this step if using carrot juice.)

Add the carrot, banana, and orange juice to a blender.

Blend until smooth and creamy.

Serve immediately.

Optional tips:

Add ice cubes for a chilled smoothie.

Use frozen banana for extra creaminess.

A pinch of cinnamon or ginger pairs nicely with carrot and orange.
