America’s Test Kitchen is a real 2,500 square foot test kitchen located just outside of Boston that is home to more than three dozen full-time cooks and product testers. Our mission is simple: to develop the absolute best recipes for all of your favorite foods. To do this, we test each recipe 30, 40, sometimes as many as 70 times, until we arrive at the combination of ingredients, technique, temperature, cooking time, and equipment that yields the best, most-foolproof recipe.
Each week, the cast of America’s Test Kitchen brings the recipes, testings, and tastings from Cook’s Illustrated magazine to life on our public television series. With more than 2 million viewers per episode, we are the most-watched cooking show on public television.
More than 1.3 million home cooks rely on Cook’s Illustrated and Cook’s Country magazines to provide trusted recipes that work, honest ratings of equipment and supermarket ingredients, and kitchen tips.

Too much sugar
I would like to know the nutritional health benefits of this food. Is it something I can eat as a pre or post workout recovery meal.
How long do these last?
Wait, so to make pickled beets I use two jars of pickled beets?
How long do they keep in the refrigerator

EW.
How long do they last for? Thanks
I too live in central PA (Berwick) and I LOVE red beet eggs.
Please upload your lamb jingle!
Absolutely WOW! Thank you
Why sugar? I do not like bread and butter pickles which I am assuming that would be the flavor profile here. What if I wanted them salty what would be the appropriate salt ratio substitute?
on paper…and in video…unappetizing. yet history has almost always show me stuff like this tastes awesome.
so already-pickled beets PLUS vinegar, presumably for the egg pickling..doesn't double-pickle the beets?
This is really a thing? Hard boiled eggs and Deviled-Eggs are a favorite of mine, but this makes me apprehensive. I need to try it and give my taste buds an opportunity to discover something new!
With the pickling ingredients in this recipe, why do you use pickled beets instead of regular beets, some stick cinnamon, allspice, and ginger? I agree that the amount of sugar seems a bit muchl, but the recipe is very easy and sounds delicious, especially added to a salad or even cottage cheese. Thank you very much!
They are really good. I grew up eating these.
is all that sugar really necessary?
they look pretty
I think the better question is why would you want to?
