How to cook turnip
Thank you!
Can you cook turnips and parsnips together
Thank you! I have never worked with turnips before, and today is going to be the first time! Making my mom‘s New England boiled dinner for my boyfriend for Saint Patty‘s day by myself! And I happen to be totally blind. Super huge help!
This video is good.
Don't peel carrots/parsnips. You're getting rid of a ton of nutrition. I don't peel turnips, either.
Thanks! This was very helpful!
1:00 I see what you did there
Thank you for this. As stupid as this may sound I'm in my seventies and I have never peeled a turnip before . So once again thank you for the video.
This is just superb, I been tryin to find out about "what is a turnip and parsnip" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of – Eeycarlott Incredible Expediency – (search on google ) ? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for discovering how to get the amazing looking body that you desire minus the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my friend got excellent results with it.
I came here to say thanks for the quick tip and to boo you for your root pun: BOOOOOOO 👎🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Cut a flat edge, peel off the skin. There is nothing in this video about cooking them.
Using pressure cooker to do some turnips for Thanksgiving, like my mamma did….but every year's she'd break off the tip of one of my knives to cut them up…. so I thought I'd look here for help on how to cut them more easily. Thanks! I was expecting it to be harder!
That isn''t a Turnip, its a Rutabaga AKA Swede or Neep. Same family as Turnips but totally different flavor. You do in fact peel and cook them in similar fashion.
rebeccah & yvonne: the atk hotties.
(we'll miss you, yvonne)
Ohhh the many puns! It's so punny!
Hi host! Where do I send flowers? 😉
Just this weekend I was contemplating buying parsnips but was unsure of whether the skins edible or on.
