Sweet Potatoes are little jewels of gold in the South. Paula Deen has a recipe for sweet potato biscuits. I could easily vegan-ized biscuits, but thought it would be really great to do a different item with sweet potatoes. Every since I saw someone make a collard greens smoothie, I thought “I can make smoothies out dinner!” Then I conceived the thought of a sweet potato smoothie! Breakfast. Sweet Potato. Good.

Sweet Potato Protein Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

1 sweet potato
1 banana
Dash cinnamon
1 pack perfect fit protein
2 cups almond milk

Directions:

You will need a blender for this recipe.

Put everything in it, lol.

Blend it for a matter of for a few minutes. If you want it to be cold, refrigerate it for a few hours. Add in a couple of ice cubes, before or after you blend it.
