Join Elle Simone Scott for conversations about the way the restaurant industry is being affected by COVID-19, what the future looks like, and how people can help. We’ll hear from guests about their thoughts and experience for a real time, authentic update. This week, we have Ashtin Berry, the founder of America’s Table, which works to “unite the 15 million US bar & restaurant, workers in a collective voice, to work for legislative representation at the federal, state and local government levels”.

Love this. One of the best, and most important videos on ATK
As a server and bartender for many years I can’t help but to laugh at the restaurants that have failed or gone bankrupt for many years they have taken advantage of tipped employees by making them do jobs that have nothing to do with guest service. What comes around goes around

America's Table collecting data regarding under-represented groups gives me hope for the future of politics in this country. Even if you disagree with her opinions, I hope you understand that a variety of voices can only be good for our democracy.
ABSOLUTELY LIVINGGGG FOR THESE INFORMATIVE VIDEOS!!
At this time – the service industries, are beginning to close – bankruptcy. And the government, that caused all the upheavals, is not losing workers, and is not saving or helping. No business can be shut down for two months. Good idea. 💡 Big business has already done a coup d'etat in the US, and a grassroots movement is necessary to rebuild from the ground up.
Very informative and interesting, thank you for sharing!
I can't imagine how bad it is now for restaurant workers who relied on regular tips to pay their bills.
Wow I’m early.
