  1. MUSSEL-SHAPED BAKLAVA Ingredients 1 teacup of yogurt (100g) 1 teacup of vegetable oil (100ml) 1 teacup of cornstarch 1 egg Half a packet of baking powder 1 tablespoon of grape vinegar or apple vinegar 1 pinch of salt 2.5 cups of flour For the dough layers Wheat starch For the filling 100g walnuts For the syrup 3 cups of sugar 3.5 cups of water 2-3 drops of lemon juice For the topping 100g butter 1 teacup of vegetable oil For the dough, mix all the ingredients to obtain a soft dough. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces, roll them into balls, and let them rest covered for 20 minutes. While the dough balls are resting, mix the ingredients for the syrup, bring to a boil, boil for 20 minutes, remove from heat, and let cool. Roll out the rested dough balls with wheat starch to the size of a serving plate, stack them on top of each other, and sprinkle starch between each layer. Roll each layer to approximately 45-50 cm in size and roll it up tightly. Cut the top of the dough in half and place it along the edge. Complete the roll tightly. Cut into finger-width pieces, slightly flatten each piece, place a walnut in the center, and fold (do not make it too thin). Drizzle with a mixture of butter and vegetable oil and bake in a 170-degree oven for 30-35 minutes. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes, then pour the cold syrup over the dessert once it has cooled slightly. After letting it rest for a few hours, you can serve it. #dessert #baklavarecipe #howtomakebaklava
