In this video we will be teaching you how to make Dominican Style Ground Beef also known as Carne Molida, using our simple recipe & method! Seasoned Ground Beef or Carne Molida can be used to make Lasagna, filling for empanadas, Pasta/ Spaghetti, Nachos, Tacos Quesadilla’s and Pizza!

INGREDIENTS (In the video you’ll see Tbps, this was a typo, I meant Tbsp for Tablespoon):
– 3lbs of Ground Beef (In this video we used 80/20 Lean Meat, but we recommend 90/10 Lean Meat)
– 1 Tbsp of Vinegar
– Water (Depends on how tender you want the Ground Beef)
– Olive Oil (To taste)
– 2 1/2 Tbsp of Adobo
– 1 Tbsp of Garlic Powder
– 1 Tbsp of Onion Powder
– 1 Tbsp of Oregano Powder
– 6 Tbsp of Tomato Paste
– 1 – 2 Goya Sazon Packet
– 4 -5 Tbsp of Sofrito
(If you don’t have Sofrito, please reference our Sofrito video
or use 1 Small Chopped Onion, 1/2 Cup of Chopped Green Peppers, 1/2 Cup of Chopped Recao/ Cilantro)
STEPS:
1. Place Ground Beef in Bowl
2. Season Ground Beef by adding Vinegar, Sofrito, Garlic, Oregano, Onion, Adobo and Sazon Packet
3. Mix Seasoning into the Ground Beef thoroughly
4. Heat Pot on Stove with Medium to High Heat
5. Drizzle Olive Oil into Pot
6. Once Pot has heated up, add Ground Beef into the Pot (Cooking will take 15 – 20 minutes)
7. You will need to stir and chop the meat up throughout the cooking process
8. Once meat has browned, (drain excess oil if needed) add water into Ground Beef
9. Add Tomato Paste into the Ground Beef and Mix thoroughly until the meat has a gravy look
10. Serve and Enjoy!!
