Teriyaki chicken – most classic Japanese dish?



Teriyaki chicken is one of the most symbolic Japanese dishes to me. When someone says “Japanese food” my brain automatically thinks of Teriyaki chicken or sushi. And for good reason! It’s such an easy and comforting dish that you can make any day of the week within 30 minutes!

  1. What are the measurements? And I'm about to sub cooking wine for white wine vinegar. Is that okay?
    I'm only substituting because I don't normally cook with wine therefore idk what wine to get..

  2. It is so weird to me when people dont mix the ingredients in a separate bowl first and then cover the meat vs just throwing them all onto the meat and then swirling everything around πŸ˜… i know, it saves cleaning a dish, but Id be afraid it wasnt mixed good enough
