In the east coast we always add beans. It’s the only way to do it for us. I do black beans and red kidney beans. It’s to add variety of flavors and extra fiber. Eat it with some cheese, saltines, sour cream and hot sauce on a cold day. What you’re making is hot dog chili for us.
