Texas Roadhouse Bread Rolls Recipe| Hot Buttery Soft Bread

Been craving for the buttery and cinnamony bread rolls of Texas Road House for a while. Nowhere to get one, so I made a copycat that is sooo good!

Here’s what you’ll need:
1 tbsp sugar (10g)
2 tsp active dry yeast
1 cup warm milk (236 ml)
3 and 1/3 cup all purpose flour (415g)
3 tablespoons sugar (30g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
1 large egg
1/3 cup melted butter (75g)

Cinnamon-Honey Butter:
1 stick unsalted butter (100g)
¼ cup icing sugar
2 tablespoons of honey
½ teaspoon cinnamon

I tried baking the first tray for 18 minutes which came out good, and the second tray for 15 minutes which came out softer and fluffier. But please note that baking time varies depending on your oven specifications. I am using a conventional oven which heat rises from the bottom.

  1. I tried out this recipe yesterday and it did not taste like Texas Roadhouse rolls. Don't get me wrong, they were yummy but it wasn't right. The cinnamon honey butter was really good and I will be using that recipe again in the future.

  2. Another thing just because Texas Roadhouse rolls are shaped oblong doesn't mean you need to shape these the same. This is my roll recipe and I make round rolls put in a cake pan to when they rise they're touching each other and come out way better this way. And then you lightly butter them after they get done. Good luck cooking my rolls

  3. Looks like you copied my recipe to the exact same ingredients so I had no choice but to duplicate the vedio and just add my voice to the editing. I can't imagine how you got your hands on my recipe but you'll be glad to know I might not be suing you I haven't completely decided yet. Please stop using other people's recipes without first asking for permission.

  4. I love Texas Roadhouse rolls but I have to say these are the best rolls I’ve had. I’ve made a lot of recipes but no recipe has compared to this one. Very light, fluffy and delicious and, easy to make! Thank you sooooo much for sharing!😘

  5. I used to go to texas roadhouse just for the rolls and theres none around where I am now😭 But these rolls really hit the spot! I've just made this and my family really loves them! Going to be a staple, thank you so much for the recipe!

  6. I’ve been wanting to do this and was happy to find your video.
Then when I try it, I regret.
Your measurements are wrong. I’m using Gold medal all purpose flour and I’ve had to use almost 500g and still not reach your kneading consistency in your video even after 10 mins!!. Ive bung this yucky superglue texture dough into the proof box. Will wait and see what actually will result from it. I might have to bin it after the hour’s up.
What a waste of ingredients and time.
