  1. Maybe try to get Guy Fieri to do something with you guys. His old restaurant “tex wasabis” had a-lot of bbq sushi type rolls etc introduced years and years ago👍🏼🤘🏼-Ryan G. Westminster Ca.

  2. I live in Birmingham Alabama. And I have been to Martin's BBQ in Vestavia Hills. It is BY FAR MY FAVORITE BBQ EVER. Rodney Scott's tries… Jim n Nicks has all but gone corporate. Dreamland used to be good until Mr. Dreamland passed away. Bob Sykes is good food, But Martin's is where it's at. Man if yall could only smell the smell that these guys are being treated to in this video. To be within half a mile of that pit room is AGONIZING if you are hungry. It smells SOOOOO good.

  3. The best and easiest way to tell if someone enjoys your food? They chew for a second or two, and then they smile for the next 10.

As an amateur cook, that’s the best compliment I could ever receive.

  4. I’ve eaten at all 6 Nashville locations, and when in Anniston, Alabama last year, drove to Birmingham just to get my hands on some Martens BBQ. This looks great, what an infusion of east meets west flavors!!! I’m starving now, and no Martens in sight!!!

  5. "20 years ago, you usually wouldn't have found brisket anywhere east of the Mississippi"

Dude might make some good BBQ, but he's lost the plot with that, or just making it up to sound cool. Plenty of joints in the east had brisket in the 90s.
