  2. I have a bird's beak paring knife that came as part of a set. I find that I use it in the summer to peel the skin off blanched peaches and tomatoes. It really does the trick getting off fruit and vegetable skins neatly.

  3. I've had the MAC bird's beak for some years now and love it for hulling strawberries and stemmint tomatoes. Do you have any hints for sharpening? I just sharpened my Felco blade on plant shears with a German cigar-shaped carborundum. It worked, but clumsily.

  4. I’m a professional chef and have been using Mac knives for the better part of 20 years. I love my birds beak paring knife even tho I broke the tip off years ago🤦‍♂️ I still use it all the time.

  5. I love my birds beak knife from victorinox. It is perfect to peel and cut small fruits in bite sizes. Indeed I‘m a woman who have small/medium hands. My husband has extra large hands and he finds the same knife is best for opening packages of meats from supermarket 🤣

  6. In professional kitchen we use Finest quality professional turning knife from Victorinox, featuring a stainless steel curved blade and a nylon handle, the ideal knife for shaping, peeling and trimming vegetables and fruits.
