Recently I found cha’s organic coconut milk Test-better From Costco in Canada
According to a blogspot called Go Healthy with Bea, "The American packaging of Aroy D coconut milk says "coconut milk 100%" which makes you think it is additive free. But it is false, Aroy D coconut milk contains E435 additive!! It is not AIP compliant and anyone with an autoimmune condition or a leaky gut should stay away from it!" The blogger demonstrates that cartons sold in France and the UK disclose this ingredient, but US market versions have a sticker over it that reads "100% coconut milk"—apparently not required to disclose in this country.
♥️Jack
The cream is 'soft and billowy' because the coconut milk has either been homogenized or emulsified. It is perfectly normal for the fat to separate.
Native Forest Unsweetened Organic Coconut Milk Simple No Guar! sourced out of Sri Lanka
Aroy-D is the only can on this panel that doesn’t add any thickening agents to their milk. I go for that.
back when I was a kid,
my Mother used to get
my 3 Sisters their favorite chocholate bar,
and just bring me a nice whole coconut.
I butchered them , however..
.. since,I still don't know how
a person milks a coconut.
OMG – Kind of like Humans!!!! 🤣
I use Knorr Coconut Stock Pots. There's no real recipe. But again, it's your choice.
I have used the Thai for many types of dishes, but have not seen the winning brand. I will see if I can find it and try so I can taste the difference.
Great to have this reference to return to if missed on Create TV. thank you
Winner was NOT American. Always buy the Foreign brand.
Shocked Jack didn't include a homemade "ringer" in this tasting.
Coconut oil "separating" is actually desirable in Thai cooking. Must be a cultural thing.
Aroy-D and Chaokoh (not mentioned in the video but was recommended in the test results itself) have both been accused of animal abuse in using forced monkey labor to harvest coconuts.
"Put de lime in da cocanut…"
Aroy D is my all time favorite just discovered it. It's pure coconut and water
Fat: “Kinda like humans!” 😂 😂 😂
No Country of origin means all made in America! Right!!! Some say Thailand what about the rest?
I cannot disagree with this taste test winner anymore..she got it right Thai kitchens is far superior to Arroy D… Ingridients matter, unless your buying their premium line Arroy D had preservatives… Quality matters… There are other good brands out there but Thai Kitchen rocks!
There are so many coconut
milks out there, but I’ve had
success with Sprouts’ organic
coconut milk.
Coconut milk is supposed of coconut for most Asian cooking.
Respectfully I disagree with your theory that coconut milk that separates is bad. That usually means it’s natural. Some good coconut milk has no chemicals added to bind it together will separate, reheat it to mix it back together. Often cheap coconut milk is thick because of chemical binders and additives. But at least you picked a good one as number one.
Aroy-D organic separates but great for desserts.
I love Aroy-D but I get it in the 8.5 oz box. It does not separate at all and has no additives. I have had trouble with stuff I bought from Trader Joe's, where 1/2 the can was pure coconut oil.
Just an FYI that the winner, Aroy D, has come under fire for using monkey slave labor. I urge your channel to take this video down or clarify this as you are, probably unwittingly, actively promoting supporting companies that treat monkeys inhumanely.
Well what do you know the one with 100% coconut milk is the winner. And it so happens is the brand in my cupboard right now. Four little box type containers.
When I saw the owner of a local Thai restaurant clear the Aroy D coconut milk from the Asian market shelf I started using that brand. Never a disappointment
Do not buy Thai kitchen brand, it has a thickener "GUAR GUM"😝
She fuckin taste tested with the same damn spoon WTF
