I tried looking up Our Table Cecil Satin flatware and couldn't find anything. Is it a real thing?
If American made means anything to you, Liberty Tabletop is the only flatware still made in the U.S. I purchased a set of their Annapolis Flatware years ago and I'm still really happy with it.
No mention of how they hold up to a dishwasher? Fail!
how does ATK come out with a video 3 days ago, and the winning set is already discontinued? +1 to Todddammit4628 about durability, some flatware will be fine for a year or two then the whole set will start rusting here and there.

I was unable to find where to purchase the Our Table Cecil Satin.
I have mixed sets of silverware, and I have a few forks and spoons, I absolutely despise. These have a thin round handle and they're very unbalanced.
I wouldn’t call those stake knives. I would call them butter knives.
If the set doesn’t have long teaspoons for stirring liquid in tall glasses……don’t buy it. Sharper forks for eating salads would be nice too

I have had Reed and Barton stainless set for more than 30 years, still using them.
I have had the runner up set for a few years now, I do use a dishwasher, they've held up great. Love them.

Try german brand WMF and it will not disappoint you for decades.
For me, one of the most important feature I wanted was that it is stackable for easy storage (small home and all that). Meaning they have to be flat
I searched and searched for the perfect flatware set. I've tried them all, cheap to the most expensive. After 20 yrs searching I finally found the place made right here in America from Liberty Tabletop. What I love about them is they have a sample order where you can choose 4 pieces for one price chosen from different styles. I had to do three samples all in all before finding two best sets ever, one for day meals one for dinner meals and later I'll choose misc. use set. I love Liberty Tabletop and I love my sets from them.

Why do they call the most unstraight kitchen utensils "flatware"? There is nothing flat about it!!!
My favorite flatware is from Liberty Tabletop. It is pricey, but it is made in America and they have many different styles. I am only sorry that I didn't purchase it sooner.
I'm still using my Lagostina stainless steel set that my parents bought for me in the late 1990s before I went away for university. 20 odd years later, and I'm still using them. Love them!
Wow. Pretty disappointing. Your video says your top pick is "Our Table Cecil Satin" 45-piece flatware but the the link to your website, Updated, August 2023, says the Crate and Barrel Caesna Mirror 20-Piece Flatware Place Setting is your overall favorite…AND…when I search for the Our Table set, it seems to be discontinued. Why would you review a set of flatware that cannot be purchased. If this is an old, re-published review, why did you republish stale information? Very deceiving to your loyal viewers/subscribers.

I’d like to hear some opinions on colored flatware such as black or gold. I’ve redecorated my kitchen with black and white buffalo plaid and have thought about getting a set of black flatware but I’m afraid it won’t hold up well and in less than a year it will be peeling or flaking off. If anybody has any experience using this I’d like to know your opinion.
I don't like the ones with handles so heavy, that the utensils fall off the plate when it's picked up with utensils balanced on the edge of the plate rim. Most annoying.
No mention of the type of metal, issues with staining and cleaning, durability, or strength.
We have a set of Wallace stainless that is not too heavy but just heavy enough! Lol!
I live in Canada. I found the best flatware in Superstore. They are open stock. The package are anywhere from 1 piece to 3 pieces per pack depending on what you are buying.

One thing I like about this is that people who manufactured these can watch and learn how to better serve the consumer
I buy a brand called Arthur Price. Reasonably priced and excellent quality. It has been through the dishwasher a zillion times and comes sparkling clean everytime. I would say it’s equivalent to my mums posh silver service
The winning set is 20 pieces for $170. I don’t know where they get their prices but they never match when you follow the links. And this is only the day after the video came out that I’m looking.

Good utensils are priceless. I do thrift stores and rarely find any quality flatware in the bins. Why? My take is people will pass along functional things they love to people they love. I love my Oneida.
I’ve had the same silverware (not silver, of course) since 1981 when I moved out of my parent’s house. Still going strong, even with daily dishwasher use. My only complaint is that many pieces have gotten lost over the years, probably thrown into the trash by mistake.
Why would you post this? The item is discontinued and you’ve since recommended a completely different product.
For longevity, make sure all steel is 18/10 stainless. It'll be stamped with "18/10" on each piece. This is the highest quality stainless steel for consumer/commercial (non-industrial) use.
LOOK CAREFULLY, I've seen flatware that says 18/0 on it. That's 18-ZERO rather than 18-TEN.
My personal favorite are Knork. Better for everyday use flatware. The pieces have a nice heft to them. They don't feel flimsy.

I have Oneida and it's very comfortable. However, I tried to match it years later, and the newer set is not as weighty and the salad forks are the size of my older dinner forks and the newer dinner forks are laughably huge!
Another vote for Liberty Tabletop. Oneida's sets are hit-and-miss, but all of LT's are 18/10 and high quality. Plus, made in the USA and still competitively priced. Glad to see they at least got a recommendation.
I tried the links and neither the winner nor the runner up recommendation came up. What's up with THAT? Why bother doing all the testing and the video if the information to purchase the product is wrong? This video was posted TODAY (April 30, 2024) so it can't be that these products are no longer available.
