It's amazing that we are still teaching people how to cut chicken 😅
Guys, STOP USING BUTTERMILK. (Especially if you aren’t a professional.)
If you want a tenderizing marinade, yogurt is more effective.
And if you want crispy, craggy crust an egg white batter (or literally just dipping flour-dredged chicken in water lol) is better.
Buttermilk will burn way more easily too, which is why his chicken is so dark. It actually sucks compared to alternatives…
I hate this clown so much
this recipe is weak
msg is fkin garbage
When you busted out the MSG I knew you were for real. It must be included when frying chicken.
Possible to use air fryer?
MSG is a naturally occurring compound in nature, most notably in tomatoes. So, this idea that MSG is bad for you is insane while preaching that tomatoes are healthy for you in probably one of the most ridiculous health tips ever.
you spent first 1/3 of the video demonstrating how to butcher the chicken.. now i get it why u didn’t use already cut chicken
I'm not really a big fan of the buttermilk thing like I once was. I have used the buttermilk powder with fish before though
Josh please make a lobster bisque next! xx
Josh try not to make a fried chicken based video: challenge impossible
Wheressss thee B-Roll! 🥲
I now have a restraining order after feeling the center of the breast.
funny (and useless) how they clarify in celsius the temperature the chicken needs to be but never do the same for the oil temperature. Not like 95% of the population uses Celsius, but okay
Leg & thigh over breast and wing? Naw
No double frying, double dreading, or even sprinkling salt at the end?
How many channels are you going to make? Damn I already showed your other channel a bunch of love.
Pro tip frying oil goes down the sink
I notice every time I use buttermilk my chicken gets DARK fast when frying at 325.
hey joshua, for fried chicken you should really check out this place called Haven Hot Chicken, it won guy fieris best bite in town show on the second episode and omg they were delicious! Check it out!!
its insane how brainwashed my parents generation was MSG the devil don't use it, But sugar nah its fine ! use it in everything ! besides the fact we have concrete imperial evidence and undisputable fact that is the worst thing you can put in your body.
Thank you for showing how to keep the oyster intact, long missed part for butchering poultry…
Garlic powder is more over powering than onion powder
Careful walking down the path of, "making the best fried chicken they've ever had in their life." You might end up walking outside one day donned in a white suit, lay your cane in the passenger seat of your Cadillac, and set out to a shoot out with the gas station clerk that keeps painting over your advertisements.
In the words of my auntie, "MSG is "make shit good"".
thick breading only means unnecessary amount of oil in the breading. also, yeah! thick breading tastes like bread and not skin.
joshua is not feeling well guys. u can see it just by the look of his eyes 🙁
start out at 275-300F and do a double fry. Under this video, by the time all the chicken is cooked, 75% of the rest is going to be soggy. Its a flatal flaw to this video
Hey Joshua, I really enjoy your videos. I recently read / listened to Ian Fleming’s book Moonraker. James Bond’s boss M mentions and eats a Marrow Bone. How would you go about that?
My intrusive thoughts

Heath ledger still going strong.

Now THIS is content
Double his seasoning in his recipe and it’s perfect
Have we got a Back to the Future situation? Joshua will disappear into the past and become Colonel Sanders.
See most people like HARD and Crunchy coating/Breading, not me. If anyone here old enough knows, KFCs Original Recipe, the old recipe from 30 years ago and before was soft and gooey in spots i believe from the egg/milk areas. Thick and gooey and jammed full of delish flavor. I cannot find any recipe that makes it like this. If i do my own tenders or i guess any chicken If I leave it in the fridge overnight after deep frying it, the next day it becomes soft but not like KFCs used to be right away out of the fryer. WHY you ask do I NOT like hard or crunchy you ask. Because I DONT have teeth..lol.
