Comments

  1. that looks like a superb piece of fried chicken.

  2. Thighs > breasts

  3. Classic American recipe ……standard

  4. Holy crap. A seasoned chicken coming from a british guy

  5. Chicken does look good, but that bun isn't toasted.

  6. Texas Pete is the weakest "hot" sauce known to man. It might as well be vinegar and red dye.

  7. Have you ever considered that pouring hot water into plastic is unhealthy? Maybe use a quart mason jar?

  8. Awesome i will try

  9. Laaad.. just after making it.. way too salty.. lovely but salty

  10. You're a really cool guy mate; few serious points you made here I wanted to absolutely touch up on; yes most online recopies are indeed way too undersalted and those st.pierre buns are my FAVORITE – I had them a few years ago and they were the best ever burger buns I've ever had; I go back to the store; same section, buy another 4 pack; it was brioche; it was way too sweet on the burgers… I chalked it up to something else and not the bread; glad to know I can go back and look for the black label specifically; thx again my friend.

  11. Looks fantastic! 👍🏻

  12. Your channel should be named TUFF GUY TATTOO ARM COOKS FOOD. This channel is now a meme.

  13. Look soo good!

  14. That chicken bite at the end is the bomb brother! Don't feel bad at all. It's the Chef's special gift to himself.

  15. another best chicken ever sure

  16. Was thinking for a lot of that – glad the black try-hard black gloves seem to be gone. Oh… dear

  17. Have you ever heard of poultry flour or buttermilk flour? I don't really brine bone-in chicken like I once did. I do it before smoking turkey legs, but bone-in chicken, I often just dry brine. Wow I find a lot of uses for that can of chipotles. I kind of wonder how it would taste if we cool down the pickle brin, and brine the chicken in in. I fry with beef tallow or a/v oil at something like 340

  18. Way too much oil in that pot 😂

  19. I used the breading recipe and I can confirm, this is the best recipe

  20. MY MAN! Deep frying in a pot with no handle. So much love!

  21. The most important part is after the breading. Let them sit until the breading tacks up. Looks good.

  22. This is the best crispy chicken ever!!!! The whole family loved it, and is something that I need to make again. Really nice and easy recipe

  23. Wow looks really tasty 👍

  24. Well done Sir.. would of liked to see a toasted bun.. but really no complaints.. looks good.

  25. GAWD DAM. That looks tasty

  26. This video on its own was enough to get me to subscribe. Holy moly 🤤🤤🤤

  27. Have you tried using different flours? I find a high protein flour works well plus potato starch

  28. Having this for supper this evening. Same method but taking a shortcut with the breading using 99X.

  29. Looks great, I'll give this a go. No herbs in the spice mix then?

  30. Thank you. Brilliant video. I don’t like hot sauce so should I put some vinegar in or will the salt be enough for the job?

  31. Wow, that’s pretty damn good!

  32. Looks amazing!!! Definitely better than a cerysin froed chicken shop burger. If you wanted to do the brone without hot saice, can you do it and subdyitute the hot sauce for pickle juice or apple cider vinegar?
Hope all is well, take care

  33. I'm in, looks amazing, many thanks

  34. Did use kosher salt or just cheap stuff?

  35. Love the technique! What did internal temp get to and do u have to worry about it overcooking even with the brine? I fried some tenders that got to 200 but they were still juicy

  36. This is banging. Saved.
