I have so much to say about this keto yeast bread. Firstly, we use yeast in the keto yeast bread, which gives it an incredible rise and heght. Yes, this keto bread rises just like regular bread loaf. Say hello to a full size low carb bread! Yes, we have to add some sugar to make it rise, but we use only 1 teaspoon of sugar for this keto bread recipe. And, the yeast eats up that sugar (honey) anyway, so you don’t actually consume those carbs (which is only 6g of sugar from the honey). And the incredible smell that this keto yeast bread has, is unreal! I couldn’t get enough of sniffing this low carb bread!
Then we need to talk about how damn awesome it is using a bread machine / bread maker for this keto bread recipe. Seriously, who knew making a keto yeast bread was this easy! You simply add in all the ingredients (in the right order per your bread maker specifications / bread machine specifications) and then press start. A few hours later and then you have amazing keto yeast bread using this amazing keto bread bread maker recipe.
This keto bread bread machine recipe works wonderfully for this yeast bread keto – and you don’t need to go and purchase and expensive bread machine or breadmaker. I bought an old breadmaker off craigslist for $10! And this keto yeast bread still came out perfectly. So don’t let the fact that this keto yeast bread needs a bread maker to create.

Ingredients for the Keto Yeast Bread:
NOTE: use these measurements – there were some inaccuracies with the measurements shown in screen for this keto bread)
1 cup slightly warm water (23C – 25C / 73.4F – 77F) (240ml/8.1oz)
2 Eggs (lightly beaten)
1/2 cup of Oat Fiber (41g/1.45oz)
2/3 cup of Flaxseed Meal (70g/2.46oz)
1.25 cups of Vital Wheat Gluten (190g/6.7oz)
1 teaspoon Salt (6g / 0.21oz) – spread around outer edge of container
0 – 4 Tablespoons powdered Sweetener (0g-60g/0oz-4oz : 30g/2oz is a good amount)
1 teaspoon Honey (7g/0.25oz) – spread around outer edge of container
1/2 teaspoon Xanthan Gum (2.5g/0.088oz) – spread out evenly
2 Tablespoons Butter (30g/1.05oz)
1 Tablespoon Active Dry Yeast (8g/0.28oz)
Macros for entire Keto Yeast Bread:
Calories: 1517 cal
Fat: 90g
Carbs: 35g Net Carbs (162g total carbs – 67g fibre – 60g sugar alcohols)
Protein: 169g
Macros per slice of Keto Yeast Bread (assuming 18 slices):
Calories: 105 cal
Fat: 5g
Carbs: 1.94g Net Carbs (9g total carbs – 3.76g fibre – 3.3g sugar alcohols)

Can you try this with different flours? For example, use sesame flour instead of flax?

Amo esta receta, hoy ha sido la segunda vez que la hago. Esta vez le puse 1 taza de vital wheat en vez de 1 1/4, el 1/4 que falta se lo puse de harina de almendras y en vez de flax seed usé 2/3 taza de lupin flour y 3 cucharadas de monk fruit/ erythrytol. (Todos los demás ingredientes usé lo de la receta original). Lo puse primero en el programa “dough” por 10 minutos y luego que ví que la masa estaba bien, le cambié el ciclo a “Basic white bread” por 1 lb. y tostado light en mi panificadora. Estuvo estupendo, pero sólo me salieron 12 slicer’s. Muchas gracias, seguiré haciendo esta versión porque a mi esposo no le gusta el flax seed y esta le encantó ❤😊

I have just made my second loaf and it has come out well. I am glad that you added measurements in grams as cups are too variable as a measurement. Sadly though, this is not real bread but I have to put up with it!

This is basically Diedre's bread recipe and I've been using it for years; however I made a discovery that you may want to incorporate: instead of using honey I use 1 tablespoon of Inulin powder (available on Amazon) which has no carbs but activates the yeast like MAD. I'll use 1/4 c of warm water mixing the inulin powder and dry yeast. I also combine dry ingredients in one bowl, and in another combine 3/4 c water with the eggs and oil. By the time I have gathered all the ingredients the yeast is activated and often reaches the lip of the measuring cup.
Also to add more flavor and texture I've made a few other changes: 1/4 c flaxseed, 1/4 c ground chia seed, 1/4 c ground sesame seed along with dashes of fennel and caraway seeds – it then has the taste and texture of rye bread. Like another commenter, I also use baking powder as well.
This is delicious thank you so much! 🙏. I add pumpkin and Sunflower seeds to the mix and sprinkle chia seeds on top just as the baking stage starts 😋.

Looks great! One thing you can use to slice bread is a electric meat slicer (hand held). So much easer!

For those from europe, yes you can reduce the sugar replacement to a minimum else the bread tastes sweet. also you can leave out the egg, since must european countries don't make bread with eggs. But its a good recipe.
Will this fit in a 2 lb bread maker. It seems like your breadmaker is bigger than mine.

Ummm ya… this video is about 3yrs old and a lady named Diedra on YouTube invented this recipe 6yrs ago. Mr keto king doesn’t mention it until near the end. Here I’ve make about 25 loaves & given him all the credit. Sorry Diedra😢

I make this bread weekly in my Zojirushi Bread Maker and I don't have to heat the water or bring the butter to room temperature or mess around with anything! The machine does it all for me. I even add the honey to the same hole where I add the yeast. The only extra thing I do is after the second punch down in my machine, and after it starts to rise for the final time, I check the shape. If it's uneven, I take it out, pinch the creases and work with it a little to get a smoother, even shape. Pop it back in and it rises and bakes to a beautifully shaped loaf. Best keto bread ever, thanks to Diedra's Kitchen (the originator of this recipe)
It is a bit too chewy for me. Anyone knows how to improve the chewiness?

Wouldn't it be better to just slightly premix the ingredients before adding them to the bread machine? And also to do the proofing of the yeast separately as you would in baking bread in the oven then adding the active proofed yeast first in the bread maker.
