  1. Bit late commenting lol but yeh defo requires yeast to make it more real bread like, and even if use active yeast, add little bit of inulin powder plus little warm water, leave it to froth like then fold it into mix at the end before baking.

  2. I want to let everyone know before they mess themselves up too much on this keto kick that if you don't figure out a way to add some type of healthy yeasts to your diet you will probably end up with low energy , bad digestive issues and a poor mood swing .
Seriously yeast is good for us when we quit eating wheat we deprive ourselves of fiber and nutrients that our bodies are used to .

  3. You did so much wrong with that cloud bread recipe. I just made it for the first time and it's perfect. Although, maybe the recipe was a little different 5 years ago. You should try it again.

  4. Why so scared of yeast + sugar? The yeast uses up all the sugar to create the bubbles & rise., so there are no carbs from the sugar. You don't even need sugar to activate the yeast as you can use honey or inulin instead.

  5. when you add yeast you do get a bit of a rise since creamcheese does have sugar. You can allso add a pinch or two of sugar (like 2 carbs for the loaf) and then let it rest in the loaf pan for like 20min before baking in a warm place. it will rise and make it much more yeasty. also the yeast will eat all the sugar and then the sugars in the creamcheese leading to less carbs overall 🙂

I love your videos and have been watching you now for a couple of weeks. This one was of particular interest to me as I am on a gluten free diet due to being celiac. Trying to find a decent gluten free loaf in UK is a mine field of overpriced loaves like £3.50 expensive for
a loaf, don't know what that equates to in dollars? Probably expensive in USA too? I have been looking into the Keto diet and what it could do for me as I am overweight and I have bought your book Ketogenic Diet On A Budget, which came yesterday. I'm looking forward to trying out the recipes. Without you mentioning it on one of your videos I wouldn't have known about it, so thank you for that and all your very enjoyable videos. Lots of love Dot x

  7. Oh my gosh. I re watched this video, because I wanted to try the soul bread. You cracked me up.. I loved your sense of humor. I still haven't tried making the bread, but I will. Thanks for the chuckle..

  8. I think you should do an update on the bread. Indigo Nili makes several different recipes for bread and rolls. She does a Hawaiian Sweet Roll and uses pineapple extract to give it kind of a tropical flavor. When I make it, I put in Orange extract because I like it better. Also Carnivore's Angel Actually came up with the recipe, and Indigo Nili made some tweaks to it. Also Loving it on Keto makes several versions of breads. She made one today that was a peanut butter bread, but she used Peanut butter Keto Chow to make it. All three of these people have also made hamburger buns and cinnamon puns with the same recipe. When I make the bread, rolls, or hamburger buns I have used the vanilla flavored egg whites, because that is what I had and I loved that. Especially great with a pulled pork sandwich. I have even used the Hawaiian sweet Rolls to make strawberry short cake.
