I just bought this model and, yes, oh my, it is a substantial, powerful juicer. It has some "heft" to it, so it's solidly built, and it puts a lot of "muscle" into juicing my lemons. I need only give it a moderate squeeze. Also, the juice does not spray everywhere like my old cheapo one (yay!). I paid $18.25 on Amazon, so it's not expensive. I know I sound like an informercial for it, but I don't know else to convey why I really like it.
Voice cracked
Too bad the first candidate was utterly misused. No wonder if failed. It's meant to be inserted in the stem end of the lemon.
i have had them all and more that are not here. the one they picked as winner is the best but the ugly metal Mexican style one lasts almost forever? we have never broke a metal one. however, the fancy fresh force ones have a plastic hinge with a metal rod going through it. which, if you use it often, will eventually violently crack into nothing fixable or remotely usable. so sad. we had 2 of them and they both cracked. the all metal ones last forever. spit out a few more seeds though but if you use citrus like we do or you are a bartender who needs it for drinks, you will want to have metal one at least as a backup. 🙂
I bought the Chef n' Fresh juicer in 2021, and the silver coating is starting to crack and peel. I also have problems with the size of a half lemon fitting in the bowl, and I frequently have to quarter the lemons using this model. I came here looking for something better.
This is so cringe
I’m dying laughing in Wal-mart because that voice crack 0:17 might be the worst i’ve ever heard 😂
Poor demo. Really only showed 2 units in action.
Table top reemers probably the best deal, they even said so. How come they didn't show an tell how they worked?
I got ripped off on that last geared one. 200 lemons, I don't think so. To good to be true. Sales gimmick. Fooled me I bought one.
The trouble is when you have Meyer lemons which are 3 to 4" to big. Cut in half. Still the slots get plugged and it squirts out the sides. I think the TV are fishing for a better aqeezer ideas cuz I'm still looking for a better one myself instead of this geared thing. Needs a splatter shield.
I bought that citrus juicer. Can confirm, it eats fruit for breakfast.
The best juicer I've ever used is one that I literally can't find online for the life of me. I got it as a "gift" from someone who was cleaning out their basement before they moved and they found this sealed juicer with an Amazing Savings sticker on it. It's all plastic, has a cup/pitcher, the juicer top, and a lid with little notches that grip the lemon rind and allow you to twist it really easily. It literally scrapes every bit of juice out of the thing. But it's annoying to clean. I'm curious if the Chef'n Freshforce is any better!
Love watching this show!!
just give me a relative comparison on each
NOW you mention the chipping enamel?
I went to this video specifically to see how the juicers at 1:14 work and you never tried them. 🙁
Oooh, I'd like that new hand juicer. It looks much easier to squeeze. I want it.
I just order both one for limes and lemons.
Just use your cooking tongs.
I get more juice from the press with cut side up, and less of the juice from the skin which can make it too tart
It’s funny, I had one and tossed it out because I was using it wrong. A tip, juice the lemon cut side down, then flip it over and squeeze it again cut side up, even more lemon juice!
Can the winning juicer also do limes well or do we have to buy the lime version as well?
You guys do the best, and most informative reviews of kitchen appliances, and kitchen gadgets. I recently purchased the Vitamix 5200 blender because of your review. And I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Let's see, I've purchased the Cuisinart Prep 11 Plus Food Processor; the Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven; the Bona Vita Metropolitan Coffee Brewer; the Trizor XV Knife Sharpener; the Borner V3 Mandoline; and the All Clad D3 Cookware collection; all based on your reviews. Thank you! And now it's onto the best citrus juicer on the market; the Chef'n FreshForce Citrus Juicer.
Im not impressed that the "Testers" didn't have the brainpower to remove the small slug of skin you NEED to remove so you don't look like an idiot!!!!!
citrus juicer looking kinda sus
I just got the juicer! so excited
Pop that collar…
I'm shocked by how many people I hear about who put the fruit in the presses upside down. I can't understand it. Attention to details, people! There are holes or slots in the bottom of the bowl on one half; what do you think those are for — ventilation? If you put the fruit in cut side up, the peel is just going to seal those holes when you operate the lever. Come on! It's not rocket science.
I've always gotten more juice using the reamer then the ceramic/metal press squeezer
The last lemon juicer is more impressive.Where can i buy the item?
Can i also juice limes with this? I dont want to have to purchase 2 different ones for lemons and lime.
Well, it's handsome….but, I'm still using my grandmother's glass tabletop reamer. Gets all the juice. The downside is I have to pour the juice through a strainer when I'm finished.
An ordinary reamer gets more juice out with less fuss and is cheaper. The problem for them is that you probably already have one. I am beginning to think they get some kind of kick back for selling stuff..
I can't unsee that lady's collar. Who wears their collar up like that…
Useful content!
Joseph Joseph helix juicer is so much better
Just use a fork or spoon and a strainer, so many kitchen tools, you really only need a certain number of high quality knives and multitaskers
His voice cracking t the beginning was precious.
