  1. Hey Laura how come you don't see a lot of people putting sweet green pepper s besides the onion witch you have to have. But I think the green peppers give the meatloaf even better flavor. Laura I've even seen a recipe with cheese in the center of the meat . Tell me your thoughts with useing green peppers in your meatloaf. Ps can I come to your house for some meatloaf just kidding Laura it just looks so good my God I love watching you girls who know how to cook .

  2. This is a fantastic meatloaf recipe, and I've tried dozens. I can live without the glaze if I'm having mashed potatoes with it. Then I just want a good brown gravy for both. Leftovers, for a quick lunch sandwich I eat it cold with mayo. Ok, I'm a savage.

  3. I’ve never understood putting a ketchup glaze on meatloaf.
In general I’ve noticed people either make meatloaf 1) to be eaten with mashed potatoes and gravy in which case the ketchup glaze coupled with brown gravy just doesn’t pair well or 2) they make meatloaf to specifically use for meatloaf sandwiches in which case you can just skip the ketchup glaze and let your family add ketchup if they prefer when making their own sandwich.

  4. Not everybody loves peas the way you do. I would rather have corn or carrots or broccoli has one of sides. But NOT peas. But I do agree with you on how you make your meatloaf. I agree that the onions should be soften up before going into the meatloaf or whatever you call it. Not saying other people have to agree with me on this. If you love peas have peas with it. I just saying I don't.
