HAH! I WAS JUST LOOKING FOR THIS YEARS REVIEW OF THESE YESTERDAY! Absolutely thrilled, keep up the good work!
I am starting to look at replacing my pittboss lockhart pellet grill and would like to know more.about the Traeger grill
You got so many things wrong about the GMG. It’s ridiculous. You spent barely any time looking into these things. You’re one of those average zero integrity YouTubers. The GMG has an ash clean out port for an ash vacuum, and also has a door to clean out the pellets you failed to mention both of those. Makes me wonder what you failed to mention about all the other smokers. Do better.
PLEASE REVIEW THE GMG 2.0 there are no good videos on that grill! Besides this one!
Why no Recteq?
Why is the broil king never in these comparisons. I own broil king and I would like to see how it stacks up against the other grills or does it have to be a domestic brand?
the brand of pellets you use makes a difference too
Where's the Pit Boss?
The Broil King Regal 500 pro is definitely one that you should check out!
No Recteq?
When used as a grille would it improve things if the deflector plate were to be removed?
I've been torn between the Weber Searwood and the Camp Chef Woodwind Pro and sadly I am still torn. I don't think I could go wrong with either one. I guess it will come down to price including cost of accessories. I like a front shelf but I can't have that with the CC because of the smokebox. The front shelf is an additional cost on the Searwood.
Do you Plano. Doing a Weber XL video? This was so helpful thank you very much.
Because RecTeq won't pay this 🤡
This comparison video couldn't have come at a better time. I just sold my Grilla OG and want to replace it with either a Woodwind Pro or the Weber Searwood. I'm leaning toward the Camp Chef mainly for the stainless steel, the easy ash clean-up, and the wood smoke box. I like the ability to add a rotisserie on the Weber. Being you have tested the two I am interested in, can you tell me if there is enough headroom to smoke a whole beer can chicken on the WW Pro? I have the stand for it but not sure if there is enough space inside from the lower grill grate to the lid. TIA.
With the grills that had easy ash clean out features, it would have been helpful to still see the the broken down interior after the cook. I watched another Searwood video that showed the ash system did not perform that well and there was a lot of ash that made it elsewhere then the catcher. Would also like to see a USA built showdown.
It would be really helpful to discuss build quality and weight. I know most of the grilla grill internal parts are stainless steel but not sure about the other grills.
Please do an in depth on the Searwood 600, not the XL. Thanks
🤛👍🙏🦅😎🇺🇸
So I can only assume Recteq is missing because it outclasses all of these to the degree as to be no comparison? If you watched this video and are in the market for a pellet grill do yourself a favor and at least check out Recteq. I’ve had mine for close ten years with zero issues. Clean smoke, even heat, PID control that’s rock solid regardless of ambient conditions.
And the GMG has a pellet dump door for changing the pellets. I think that may have been missed too..
Actually the Green Mountain Grill has a trap door right next to the bucket for vacuuming out the firepot
How are you gonna do this without pit boss being represented
Nice review – well done. Covered a number of products and a variety of features. I joined the Brisk It team a few months ago and it's always interesting to see how our grill compares, since we are newer. Brisk It is working to revolutionize backyard cooking by integrating the first true generative A.I. into pellet grills. Our generative AI (think Siri or Alexa) is called Vera and is designed to make BBQ foolproof and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of their cooking skills. With Vera, you can verbally instruct the grill to prepare any recipe from start to finish, or simply type in what you’re craving. It’s all about turning every grilling experience into a perfect meal with ease and precision. Imagine a grill that not only suggests what to cook based on your ingredients but also manages the entire cooking process for you. That's the convenience and innovation Brisk It brings to modern outdoor kitchens. Hard core pit masters might shy away from using Vera… but for those who have never purchased a pellet grill before because they were intimidated or overwhelmed with what they needed to learn, or with the time commitment, now have an option available to them. As can be seen in this review, without Vera, Brisk It is very competitive – with Vera, it's a game changer for anyone wanting to enter the category!

I've got the Brisk-it 940, and LOVE it! Easy to use, and clean. Easy ash clean up, and pellet dump to change pellets. Best brisket I have ever had, and I did it myself! I use the overnight method of low @190-200 overnight to 165 internal temp, wrap in butcher paper to 205, and as long of a rest as possible before eating! Highly recommend it…but mine did not come with a front shelf. Best part is I bought for under $800 during black Friday discounts!

To not have a pit boss is a joke
If you had to choose between the Searwood and the Masterbuilt Gravity, which one would you choose? I know they are two different types of fuel. But based on flavor, durability, overall preference?
So far I have had two, a Traeger from Home Depot that I ended up returning because the controller failed and after two cooks the paint was falling off, and a gmg Daniel Boone prime that is about to end up in the dumpster due to controller failures and all the paint falling off on the outside and inside getting paint flakes all over food.
I really don’t understand why it’s so hard to paint these grills with high temp paint that does not flake off, all of my Weber products look like new when cleaned and I’m hoping the searwood will give me the same results, if not I’m done with all these corner cutting expensive things.
