  1. I just got the 7-qt programmable Crock-Pot. The instructions under IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS #22: "Do not lock the lid while cooking. Locking the glass while cooking may lead to glass breakage, which can cause injuries."

  2. Thank you so much for the “start with frozen chicken” advice! My meat has been dry and overcooked because I put it in for 8+ hours while at work. Feel so silly I didn’t think of that 🤦🏻‍♀️ Love your videos and advice Nicole! ❤️😊

  3. The video does not much the recipe for Slow Cooker Italian Beef Sandwich , is this basically an Italian version of Mississippi Pot Roast you are replacing the Pepperoncini's with Giardiniera & Ranch ?dressing mix with Italian dressing mix?

  4. This is NOT healthy food, Nicole. These recipes are SHOCKINGLY high in sodium. A single serving of the Salisbury steak over mashed potatoes contains more than a days worth of sodium at 2,535 mg per serving. US RDA for a full day is only 2,300. A single envelope of onion soup mix, 2400 mg. Two cans of cream of chicken adds 4400 mg. The half cup of bread crumbs is another 1000 mg of sodium. You displayed a two patty serving over mashed potatoes. If you use only one teaspoon of salt in your batch of mash, that's another 2300 mg. Again, this works out to more than a full day RDA of sodium in *just one meal*!

The carnitas is much better at less than 600 mg per serving at six servings for a pork roast that big plus sodium in the tortillas.

  5. GOOD GRIEF! I make a FABULOUS Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas!BUT they are a MAJOR production !!! We do it like an assembly line and STILL is time consuming! Putting sour cream sauce, chicken, and cheese in each Tortilla AFTER you’ve softened it in hot oil, rolling them, arranging in a baking dish, topping with sauce and cheese…well, the kitchen is a mess and the cook is exhausted! Now you tell me I can dump it all in a cooke, take a nap, and it will STILL be ready for dinner! Have I to;d you late;y that I love you, Nicole
