Looks good but down south we add onions, boiled egg, and sweet relish or salad cubes (instead of fresh dill). Going to try your recipe for my kids that donβt like onions
I made the tuna salad on toasted ciabatta bread with butter for my family when they came for morning tea today. Everyone loved it and came back for seconds πππ
Thank you Rajiv for this yummy recipe. Iβll be making a plate of these as sandwiches for a garden society meeting I have next Monday. I know there wonβt be any left over. I was glad I left the salt to the end as it didnβt need salt at all. The salt was in with the tuna and springwater. It was enough.
Iβm thoroughly enjoying your videos, thank you. πΈ
Happy Sunday Rajiv.. you are a beautiful young man with gorgeous hair..lol I make a delicious tuna salad but I also do a mean chicken salad as well. Strangely enough it isn't that much of a difference but I do use Italian salad dressing and I use salt free vegetable seasoning lots of eggs( not so much now with a dozen costing $14) I use Albacore solid white tuna and I rinse and drain of course I love sweet relish as well and I think ppl get mixed up sweet relish with what's called Indian relish and they are not the same.. of course Hellmann's mayonnaise only.. Tuna salad on a toasted bagel or crackers are amazing with a side of red grapes and a large lemonade iced tea from scratch..lolβ€β€β€
No, a knife that is not sharp is definitely frustrating.
Swap out celery for red pepper π
I have made so many different tuna salads. My favourite is my US mother's tuna salad. Tuna, a lot of very finely cut red onion and mayo. I never buy mayo as I do not use it but instead I use creme fraish and make a dressing with salt, pepper, lemon juice and a tiny bit of mustard. My US mom served it on a salad leaf, I just put it on bread.
That's how I fix mine. If I don't have fresh lemon I have used lemon pepper and dried dill. Still pretty good and I always use a buttered English muffin. Interesting. ππ
This recipe is possibly the tastiest tuna salad Iβve ever made!π
I recommend your channel to my daughter. She adores you, as do I. She'll be moving to New York soon. She says she'd love to meet you.
Now Iβm hungry!
Hi! Where do you prefer to buy your bagels?
In the UK, we find it INSANE that people in North America donβt put butter on bagels or on bread when making sandwiches. We would just NEVER make a sandwich without buttering the bread first
Try a bit of wasabi in the tuna salad. Delish!
I love adding sweet pickles, hard boiled egg and apples for crunch since my spouse doesnβt like celery.
That looks so good, thank you!
Opening a tin of tuna with those big ass kare– very demure
Yum
I watch you all the time !!! You are fabulous !!!
Love your videos. South africa
Yum!
Here in the south we use some dill and sweet pickles
Just made and this is definitely the best tuna salad I have ever had! The lemon makes an enormous difference! Thanks for sharing this fun recipe.
This is soooo good. Thank you β€.
I use avocado mayonnaise instead of any of those others because they have Seda oils in them and it just trashes my stomach. I also add fresh sweet onion, and that can either be red or Vidalia, adds a lot of flavor.
Perfect. Just like my dad made.
You are so richly blessed to have access to authentic NY bagel! Loved your version but I'll add shallots.
