For tough clean, after filling half way with warm soapy water, throw in a piece of paper towel, close it and shake it. Works like a charm.
And for the love of all that is holy don't reuse ones that have had raw chicken or raw ground beef in them!

Ohh no ! do not put scented detergents in plastic bags, they pick up odours too easily, and transfer them ! If you must, apply sniff test rigorously !
Try and put a paper tower with the soap water sloshing. Like the Tupperware trick.
I have a variety of reusable bags. None of them wash well in the dishwasher. They don't rinse. Just handwash them.
Does this really sanitize a bag you've stored raw meat in? They talk about not reusing disposables after storing raw meat in them, but if I can't get that kind clean enough, what's different about these?

I use vacuum seal he was on bags all the time. I turn them inside out to wash the corners. Should I stop that?
