Why is the annoying music louder than your voice? Unwatchable
Your bacon is classed as 'Streaky' or 'Economy in the U.K. It's cheap, affordable, and fatty. Most Brits tend to eat prime back bacon either smoked or unsmoked.
This young guy is awesome
Dear Dan, I'm a grandma but I have to tell you that you are so handsome and I wonder why some pretty young girl hasn't snagged you yet?
Nix the background music. It doesn't add anything and makes it hard for people with hearing issues to hear Dan.
Microwave under paper towels. Soooooo easy and easy clean up. Less fat content bacon works better. Thank me later.
Personally, the best way for me to cook bacon is on a rack set (sprayed with nonstick cooking spray) over a baking pan. I put it in a cold oven and bake at 350° until done to my liking. In this way, the bacon renders the fat slowly and never cooks sitting in the fat. All of the bacon fat drips to the pan below the rack. Yes, this takes longer but 90-95% of the time you tend to get very straight bacon and it not greasy. Looks great for presentation, if that is important to you. Try it! 😉
We’re a minute and a half and still no mention of temperature or time of cooking
I could care less about the Kardashians and the scientific reason that I like the smell of bacon jeez Louise shut up the babble and tell us the temperature of the oven and the time you need to keep the bacon in there
You need to removed the background music to be understood.
Just bring home the BACON!!!
Great video, thank you. I often overcook bacon and suspect my "window of perfection" is short due to the high heat. I'll try your recipe, use low heat and add water.
I ike to use parchment paper when I bake the bacon for easy clean up
If you want that whole roasted bacon texture, particularly texture where the fat can be et comfortably on its own, simmer in a LOT of water, and don't overdo the frying portion (after the water has evaporated).
Why the bloody music, can’t hear the speaker. Just listen yourself, it’s terrible
low an slow in the oven.
Should we be listening to the spoken content or the background music? So many videos are ruined this way with background music over vocals.
Always presented in a way that is understood clearly. Excellent.
Down vote for crispy bacon. Chewy bacon is where it's at and Dan is wrong.
What is Dan eating? = Wondering what he's eating.
– versus –
What's eating Dan? = something is eating him.
Cook on the stove in a non stick Dutch oven. Controls the splatter and you can drain the fat off before easy clean up of wipe out with paper towel then hot water and a squirt of dish detergent. No way I'm going to have that splatter all over the oven!
Great………now I have a greasy oven……smoking like stink. I want to know how to prevent messing up my oven. PLEASE.
The program content was obliterated by the background soundtrack!
(I wouldn't call it music).
I cook it in the air fryer – super easy and delicious!
You are such a creative young man. Thank you for teaching us so many interesting things in our world. Nitrites insight just lowered my grocery bill!
Why have music, I would prefer a commentary !!!
Really Good info, I just couldn't hear you very well, I was distracted by your background music. Not sure if the music is even necessary.
this was a very informative and interesting video! i personally use the oven to cook bacon and it has been a life changer 😉
As others have noted, very hard to understand 100% of Dan's comments because of the infuriating audio and his tendency to "swallow" the end of sentences.
Bacon's the kind of food that cannot be "oversatured" like a Kardashian. It simply IS as good as it's claimed to be.
The background music…MY GOD!, Why?! Makes it impossible for me to listen..and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
I love this episode.
I cook my bacon low and slow on the cooktop, using a spatula to press down on the fatty portions of the bacon to ensure it cooks more evenly. You can't just let bacon sit and cook on its own. You have to really watch it. Good baking requires interaction from the cook.😉 Cooking in the oven makes a bigger mess that's harder to clean up in my opinion because of the splashing grease inside the oven. I have a ceramic cooktop, so all I have to do is cool it down, wipe it off good with soapy water. Then I can just clean it easily using the cooktop cleaner. This is much easier than cleaning the oven in my humble opinion. 😊
It seems to me that baking also results in less shrinkage
There should be a law — or, at least, a USDA policy — against advertising celery juice-laden meats as being uncured. It's the height of deceptive advertising.
Thank God you are not a vegetarian.
Thank you . Was very educational! We love Bacon, and we don’t eat it that often, once every tow month for BLT , Do not read the label any moor.
So frustrating to hear useful information but with the background music could NOT make out what you were saying….. me think I lost brain cells trying to make out your words… drop the music plz.
Wondering about candied bacon, using Brown Sugar/Pure Maple Syrup in the oven…
Bacon is a class one carcinogen, like cigarette smoke and plutonium, if you eat it or any processed meat you are basically a fool.
Leave pigs Alon!!!
🥓Where my CHEWY bacon people at?!?! 🥓
As an electrician with thousands of customers, many of my commercial customers are restaurants and ALL OF THEM use the cookie sheet with parchment to cook bacon at 350ºF for 25- 30 minutes. So that's the way I do it at home.
I always learn something. I have bought all types of bacon. I like baking it in the oven. One thing you didn't mention is adding brown sugar before baking. Yum!
Stopped watching because of the annoying background music. Love Dan, though!
Love the content and I am with Andy – tone down or eliminate the background "music"
I need 200% of this video. And about 5% of the accompanying music.
Get rid of the music!!!
