Never put tinfoil directly on hot coals the chemicals inside are not good for humans. Instead use chunks of wood spaced inside the goals and fire it up from one side so it burns through the pieces of wood.
Again, I am in love!!! Smoked pork loin .. may be this is what I'll make for my birthday dinner. And the sweet potato soup with candied bacon… Mmmmm!!!
No
And sweet potato pie for dessert!
Sweet potato soup, fried pork chops and fried apples should be an alternative Thanksgiving dinner! 😋
Pork and fried apples, I grew up on! Wonderful stuff!
eYe got diet cola in my butt dare me to add some Mentos ?
those ribs are burnt. Overkill. I don't want to eat charcoal.
“I love you “ ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Both are great recipes. The smoked pork loin looks so juicy and wonderful. And the sweet potato soup looks luscious. I would be tempted to add a couple of cloves. But that's just me 😋
use this recipe and marinate a center cut loin for at least 24 hrs in the fridge,,, the n rotisserie over fruit wood coals. Score the roast lengthwise before marinating… lots of ingredients in the sauce but well well worth the effort. basted the roast a few times while it was cooking… THE BEST PORK I HAVE EVER HAD

Why not just buy maple smoked bacon?
Chain brushes are great btw
Run the Ribalizer (sp?) ribs under the broiler with a fresh coating of sauce and you will have even better ribs than traditional, and still faster than trad, as well.
Oh yum…… drooling!
Great recipes, ladies!!
5-7 minutes to render bacon. Bullshit.
Bridget Lancaster….. what a witty, pretty and interesting host! Much much better than Uncle Scrooge….
You really needed a yam there to educate folks.
