I never realize how petite Ashley was until she was putting the watermelon in the blender
I’m whispering, watermelon! 🍉😗😋
I have that sweater!
Very nice thank 👍🏻
Seeing all the comments about the supposedly poor timing of this video according to Northern Hemisphere seasons, I just wanted to comment as someone heading into summer in the Southern Hemisphere (Australia) and say thank you for this video! Perfect timing for me – I came looking for this video after Ashley mentioned the watermelon slushies in the latest strawberry video which I also enjoyed.
I had heard that "rutabaga" was the thing background actors said over and over.
it was also "humina humina humina" as well on sets.
I was taught "peas and carrots peas and carrots" not watermelon.
I've never had a watermelon that lasted long enough to become a salad. 🙂
here is a tip, take the top and the bottom edge of a watermelon off, and slice the rinds off, you are pretty much left with a rounded cube. Easier to dice off at that point.
Great timing. Whose idea was it to produce a watermelon video in late October?
I love these ideas! Thanks 😊
Mmmmm
I love this series so much. Also, as a choral conductor I have been known to tell singers that if they get lost in a performance just keep going and sing "watermelon" until they catch up. LOL
Maybe best way to SERVE it. Def not gonna wait half an hour for my melon!!
I cut a hole in it…big enough for an egg beater and drill it smooth…
I'll try it. : ) I eat a lot of watermelon.
Ah yes, mid-October is perfect timing for watermelon recipes, a summer fruit…
Loving these videos and recipes! I'll definitely try both of thek….with tequila!
Great 👌
Will try the watermelon salad next time I buy a watermelon
Cutting rounds and then in half allows to use flexible sandwich knife to cut off rinds breaks down much quicker.
We'd mouth "peas and carrots"
It is mid-October, and you're just now releasing a watermelon video? A bit late, doncha think?
Very interesting! I love watermelon and can’t wait to try these recipes! Also love the way your sweater matched the watermelon. Great job Ashley
Your theatre watermelon story cracked me up. 🤣🤣 🍉
A watermelon video…right on time for Fall.
YUMMMMMMMMMMMMS
Cut in half and enjoy with spoon
Ashley is here looking like a watermelon herself. And I LOVE it
Anybody remember another ATK in 2020 that had a tip on how to cut cherry tomatoes using some lid somehow to capture a bunch to slice? I almost know what I mean, but sure wish I had it bookmarked and linked here. Does ATK ever respond to comments? Link please?
These recipes look delicious! In our house, we eat watermelon all year long and I love learning needs ways to enjoy it. Thanks Ashley! 🍉
try a sugar baby watermelon..yes it has seeds but it is the best
Best way to eat watermelon? Cut in half, get spoon, enjoy.
Pineapple in that slushy is amazing, by the way. And a little mint or fresh ginger if you’ve got a high-speed blender.
Little late in the season for this isn't it?
It's easier to trim the edges by cutting the whole thing in half and trimming with the flat part on the cutting board, bigger pieces easier to handle
Haha my Mom used to say people in the background were saying Rhubarb, curious if that's the British variation!
