In the first part of the episode, one of a hen’s chicks is so lazy that it insists on riding on its mother’s back instead of walking with its brothers and sisters. The chick doesn’t understand how important it is to learn how to jump and to do all the exercises necessary to strengthen its leg muscles. When the other chicks come to the edge of a deep ditch and jump across, our lazy chick is consequently afraid to follow them.
