Make this easy and delicious Dutch oven Beef Stew recipe, perfect for the cold winter nights!
Full of flavor and beef so tender, it will melt in your mouth!
Perfect size Dutch oven for whole chicken, bread and stews:
Recipe:
– 800gr/2 pounds/lb of beef, I`ve used from the Chuck part.
– 3 carrots
– 2-3 potatoes
– 2 onions
– Half a cup peas
– Thyme, fresh is best, dry is ok too.
– Fresh parsley
– 2-3 cloves of garlic
– 2-3 bay leaves
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1 cup red wine
– 1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
– 2 tablespoons tomato paste
– 2 cups beef stock/broth, we`ve used water and 2 beef stock cubes.
– Freshly ground pepper
– 65gram/Half a cup flour
After you cut the meat, dust it well with half of the flour, sear it well with oil in the dutch oven and remove it on a plate. In the same pot cook the onions and after 5 min add the garlic. Add the remaining flour and the tomato paste and stir it well. Add the red wine and stir until there is nothing sticking on the bottom of the dutch oven. Add back the meat, add the bay leaves and the smoked paprika. Add water and the beef stock cubes or even better if you have beef stock. Add the thyme and pepper and let it simmer without a lid for 45-50 minutes, then add the chopped carrots and potatoes, place the lid on and cook in a preheated oven 200C/392F for another 45-50 minutes. Add the peas and cook for another 10-15 minutes.

Hello everyone! Recipe is in the description 👆👆👆
OMG Wow… I am a videographer, so believe me when I tell you, the video work was outstanding… now secondly, I also LOVE to cook… and this video and recipe is outstanding… making it tonight. It is pretty close to how I was taught by my grandmother, so happy to enhance what I do already!!! Well done! I am a new sub!
I made a batch today in my brand new dutch oven. It was absolutely delicious!! Added mushrooms to my ingredients. My only issue is the sticking @ the bottom of the dutch oven.🙁 The stirring helped some but…Any tips??
Looks sooo delicious. Home made bread would be perfect with this. Just purchased my 1st Dutch oven last week. Is there a substitute for red wine & can it simmer instead of going in the oven? Thanks in advance.
How do I get to the recipe?
Any substitute for the wine pls?
How much dried thyme would i use? I can't wait to use my new dutch oven!
At what oven temp? Good lord this is for old people zzzzzzzz 😂
This should have atleast one million view
what is this monstrosity this is in no way a stew I've never known tomatoes or garlic or red wine go in a stew especially a beef stew
I get that cooking is what you make of it qnd everyone has there own take but to call this a stew that surely can't be right it has tomatoes in it its more "beef in wine" a take on "coq au vin"
I won't say it looks bad but its not a stew
Great video! What brand of knife are you using?
Ooooowe I want some
Love this video. I could almost smell the food from my screen. Also nice to see a cooking video where I didn’t see rings on fingers while preparing and cooking food😊
The was beautiful to watch
I really enjoyed this video, it's kinda i want to be there in That kitchen and just talking with that georgeous hands ❤
It's one of the best cooking videos I've seen… Easy to follow, and you didn't say one word!!!…It brought me so much peace while preparing a great recipe!! Thank you!!😊
One word describes that dish….FIRE!!!
So happy to have come across your channel. I love the way you cook delicious food without any useless chattering. This is the first recipe i saw of yours and I will for sure be following you for more. Thank you!
What can I put instead of wine please?
The real sounds is awesome ❤
Interesting almost spooky like a horror movie! You are a talented chef, great job and thanks for sharing.
No talkie ????
I'm using your recipe for dinner tonight… Wish me luck!
The lovely jazz accompanied by a crackling fire and the sensuous beef casserole all come together for a total experience. Delicious!!!
this should be titled as +18
I tried it and it was absolutely beautiful. Thank you very much ❤
Isn't this beef bourguignon?
Just love how accessible it is, and unapologetic about using beef stock cubes instead of liquid stock.
This was so soothing ❤
About to head to the store and get a bag of potatoes, some cellery, some red wine and then I'm coming home and cooking this!
Do not use metal tongs in your enameled cast iron !
Add what temperature do you cook the beef stew in the oven
What can you use if you don't like using wine in a recipe? Just more beef broth?
I made this today- it was great! I did add a bit more beef stock and glad I did. It was such a great winter meal!
At what point do you add the meat back into the por? Is the meat supposed to be still tough after the initial first step of searing?
I would Never add water or beef cubes to a stew. Water has absolutely no flavor and adds nothing to the dish. Always use good beef broth or stock instead.
try carne guisada puertorriqueña
I love cooking back when I was 15 my depression was at its worst I started cooking then and I started feeling so much better I was happier and I’m still cooking today I’m 20 now also it looks amazing
Great video, what can I replace the red Wine with?
What a pleasure to just watch and not have to put up w/bs banter, bad humor or horrible singing when all I’m looking up is how to follow a recipe (I’m tired of crappy, overpriced restaurants).
Making this now and so far smells amazing!
Love this concept. Another awsome idea is to use the subtitles to tell a little story about the dish
I adore my Staub DOs! What temp is the oven set at?
I'm actually getting ready to try this recipe right now!
