Beef Strips β 500g
Ginger (finely chopped) β 1 tbsp
Garlic (finely chopped) β 6-8 cloves
Celery β 2 stalks
Onions (sliced) β 2 nos
Bell Peppers (julienned) β 3 nos
Salt β 1 tsp
Sugar β 1 tsp
Pepper β 2 tsp
Soy Sauce β ΒΎ tbsp
Oil β 3 tbsp
MSG β Β½ tsp
Spring Onion β 1 no
White Sesame Seeds (toasted) β 2 tsp (For Garnish)
Cooking Instructions:
1. Marinate the beef strips with salt, pepper and soy sauce. Marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
2. In a hot wok/pan, add oil, chopped garlic and ginger and let it brown.
3. Add the chopped celery and saute it for a few seconds. Then add sliced onions, saute for a minute on a high flame. Add the julienned bell peppers and saute it for a few minutes.
4. Add the marinated beef and toss it on a high flame till it mixes evenly. Cook it till it starts releasing water.
5. Cover and cook the beef for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Add ΒΌ tsp of msg, toss the beef and cook it till it is dry.
7. Check the seasoning, transfer it to a bowl and garnish it with chopped spring onions and toasted sesame seeds.
