  3. The real truth is that good quality can be eaten without boiling or any other nonsense. It simply needs to be heated up enough so butter can be melted on it. I've personally picked fresh corn and tasted it to see if it was ripe and it was delicious.

  6. I had made corn like this years ago–when I was having a big party. Today, I need to boil 18 ears of corn and remembered this being an effective method as it allows the corn to sit in the water for up to 30 minutes. I search online and all recipes said not to leave it in the water–but I knew I had done it successfully before. I just didn't remember how. Now I know. Thanks!
