  1. Literally just found your channel getting a handle on Achiote paste and how to use it. Stumbled across an older video. Really appreciate the recipes you're sharing, the passion and good vibes. Great channel, excited to watch more and add to my own rotation of meals.

  2. This looks great! Ground beef or "hamburger" stew has always been my favorite. Traditionally in southern hamburger stew, we use bell peppers but, like yours, I prefer hatch or poblano peppers. I add diced tomatoes and most of the time we add additional vegetables like green beans, corn, or carrots.

  3. I always click on your videos with the roasted chilis with the thought in mind that you may have used Hatch Green chilis and then it always ends up being poblano or Anaheim peppers. I’m very curious if you prefer these two to hatch? Love your recipes and always want to make them all! ❤

  4. I made picadillo this past week and it was delicious very much like your recipe. I did add Knorr tomato chicken bullion, and a small can of V-8, which made it even more delicious with onion garlic and with spices and chopped up a bunch of cilantro after it was cooked and threw it in and oh my Gosh I can’t stop eating it. I didn’t have ground beef so I subbed bison and browned it like you did…chunky!

  5. I had to pause you to go into the kitchen and get a pound of ground beef out of the freezer!✨😋💞 edit: I came back to tell you that my favorite stew to make is one that I adapted from a magazine recipe in 1974, with lots of chunks of chuck roast, carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, and peas and featuring a little brandy mixed with Worchestershire (which I had just learned that the Brits pronounce as wus-tuh-shur) sauce. Really yummy💚
