Try this recipe from my grandmother; you’ll fall in love! It’s easy, quick, delicious, and budget-friendly. This recipe combines ground meat with vegetables in a simple yet satisfying dish. My family absolutely loves it!
Ingredients:
⦁ 300g Ground meat
⦁ 1 Onion, finely chopped
⦁ 100g Parsley, chopped
⦁ 3 Tomatoes, sliced
⦁ 3 Potatoes, sliced
⦁ 2 Medium onions, sliced
⦁ 1 Bell pepper, finely chopped
⦁ Olive oil
⦁ Salt, black pepper, smoked paprika
Sauce Ingredients:
⦁ Tomato paste
⦁ Orange paste (or juice)
⦁ Lemon juice
⦁ Saffron threads
⦁ Salt and black pepper
⦁ 1/5 cup Boiling water
Instructions:
1. Finely chop the onion and bell pepper, then mix thoroughly with the ground meat.
2. Slice the potatoes, tomatoes, and onions.
3. Take a walnut-sized portion of the meat mixture, flatten it, and top with the sliced vegetables. Arrange in a baking dish.
4. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for 20 minutes.
5. While the dish is baking, prepare the sauce by mixing together the tomato paste, orange paste (or juice), lemon juice, saffron, salt, pepper, and boiling water.
6. After 20 minutes, pour the sauce over the meat and vegetables.
7. Reduce the oven temperature to 150°C (302°F) and bake for another hour.Enjoy!
