I would not buy this .. bought new one and came defective … top curve was bent and did not screwed .. plus they did not even replaced it … had to buy new part
which one is better . this one or the char-griller pro deluxe ?
If you don't dump the ashes every time you grill they will draw moisture and for sure rust. Also you need to reseason the barrel to stop rust.
I have had mine over 20 years and NO rust.
I replaced the ashtray and put small cast iron grates right on top of the ashtray and DUMP the ashes every time I grill.
What is the small round chrome thing for on the bottom?

How is this redesigned? I'm on my 3rd one in 12 years and it's only gone from wooden side table to metal. The charcoal dumping tray and the bottom of the grill rusts out within a few years in every one. Make that a part of your redesign.
Can I use a Cast Iron Heavy-Duty, Double Sided Reversible Griddle Grill Pan on this?
