  1. So I received a reply to my post expressing worry from "Joe". I won't rest though until I see Joe getting out of that vat, maybe doing a test on (with) Dan..? Let the real Joe rise…err step forward.

  2. I wish you had gone more in depth about the science behind it. How and why the applied force changes the state of matter in an animated clip like you do on ATK when you explain proteins and moisture retention, etc, you know?

  3. Did he actually sink, or was it CGI?? There's no liquid displacement- is variable density (my expression, no idea if it's scientific terminology) another quality of the cornstarch and water? What is the science?

  4. So we no longer have Big Bang Theory to watch and yet we now have a new "Professor Proton". Do more,do more. And of course always more Dan. You might add a disclaimer that no Joe's were injured or killed while making this video.

  5. The unwavering commitment to the totally unnecessary bit was amazing. RIP Joe, your sacrifice for a simple demonstration taken to extremes and our resulting raucous laughter will be remembered always.

  6. Love it! I used to make "magic mud" for my kids to play with in the summer. We put it on a cookie sheet, and they enjoyed manipulating it from solid to liquid for hours. It's how they learned the term "thixotropic".
